Teen Life Is Already Hard Without Competition
Victor and Jasmine are the star couple at Golden Heights Dance Studio, with their most recent competition landing them 6th place. But things start to fall apart when Jasmine finds out she's pregnant and Victor’s father gives him an ultimatum: win first place at the next competition, or be kicked out the house.
Luckily for Victor, a replacement partner is found: Alex the receptionist. Her problem, she’s never had professional training nor can she afford the lessons. The series follows Alex and Victor learning how to work together, while Jasmine figures out life as a pregnant teen with a resistant baby daddy. Competition training is just the tip of the iceberg.
Episode 1 follows Victor and Jasmine’s partnership break up. Jasmine comes to terms with her pregnancy, questioning how to tell the father. Victor is trying to find a new partner, while his homelife worsens. Alex loses her fake ID at the studio, ending up with a bargain deal with her boss: Be Victor’s new dance partner, or be reported to the police.
